About Parties and Lobby Invites
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre as an in game party system that allows you to create a party for matchmaking or to start a private match. For cross play Xbox One players will only be able to connect with other Xbox One players. Xbox Series S/X players will be able to party up with PS5 and PC players through our in game party system. Learn more about how to create a party and cross play here.
To start a private lobby you will need to invite 3 other players for a full party of 4, next select Play > Create Lobby to get a lobby invite code for additional players. To use a lobby code, select Play > Join Lobby!
Enable Crossplay Xbox Series
On Xbox Series crossplay must be enabled through online privacy settings by doing the following:
Press X button on Xbox Controller then go to Profile and System
Select Settings > Account > Privacy and Online Safety > Xbox Privacy > View Details and Customize > Communication and Multiplayer
Select Allow for the drop down on "You can join cross-network play"

Check your NAT Type
When troubleshooting connection errors you may run into a situation where your Xbox says you have a strict NAT. This means that you will only be able to connect to other players that also have a Strict NAT. The steps below give steps to open your NAT and allow you to have better connectivity with your friends.
How do I find and change my NAT Type?
Navigate to Xbox Troubleshoot NAT errors and Multiplayer Game Issues to learn more about NAT Errors on Xbox
- Test your Network connection on your Xbox to find your NAT Type.
- Press the Xbox button on the controller, then choose Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings.
- Under Current Network Status, the NAT Type field displays your current NAT type.
- Port forward the Xbox services ports below through your router.
- You may need to contact the Manufacturer of your router or contact your ISP to determine the correct steps to make the next set of changes
- Ports to Forward: TCP: 53, 80, 3074 UDP: 53, 88, 500, 3074, 3544, 4500
- Restart your Xbox to ensure the changes take effect.
